Pastoral and Liturgical ministries continue to be vital roles in the church and there are many that have answered the call to serve. Who are the Catholic Daughters of the Americas? The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.” The CDA motto is “Unity and Charity.” Our Lady of Mercy Regent is Josie V. De La Cerda.

Adoration

Adoration is a sign of devotion to and worship of Jesus Christ, who is present Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, under the appearance of the consecrated host. As a devotion, Eucharistic adoration and meditation are more than merely looking at the Blessed Host, but a continuation of what was celebrated in the Eucharist. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed to and adored by the faithful weekly on Wednesdays between 7:30 a.m. concluding with Vespers and Benediction at 6:30pm.
